October 2023 / zeron supports the launch of "düsselfibre"

With an innovative concept, the company metrofibre has been bringing speed to fiber optic expansion in urban areas since 2022. Following the successful launch of the "ruhrfibre" pilot project in the Ruhr metropolis of Essen, a second city is now getting internet at the speed of light: zeron's home city of Düsseldorf. The plan of the sister brand "düsselfibre": to supply 100,000 households in the state capital with state-of-the-art FTTH connections from 2024.

zeron is also handling communications for the fiber optic project in the Rhine metropolis. Following the successful launch at the beginning of October at an official press conference with Mayor Dr. Stephan Keller, which zeron organized, press releases, background discussions, interviews and much more will follow in the coming weeks and months.

The focus will always be on explaining the advantages of fiber optics. After all, the line that allows maximum bandwidths is the ticket to the digital future - for private individuals, companies and public institutions. And the prerequisite for cities on their way to becoming smart cities.
