glasstec Preview: PR event

/ Added value for exhibitors and journalists: glasstec Preview.
 

The situation / 

Messe Düssledorf’s glasstecfair is the international glass industry’s leading trade fair. In 2018 the organisers decided to take a brand new approach and supplement its press conference concept for foreign journalistswith a press preview day for European media representatives and exhibitors in Düsseldorf. 

The brief / 

To develop a concept for glasstec Preview that impressed both exhibitors and journalists! The objective was to create a platform for glasstec exhibitors and European trade journals, generate additional media coverage before and after the event, raise awareness for exhibitors in advance of the fair and provide them with an extra PR forum.

zeron’s role / 

zeron developed the entire package, from concept development, to event organisation and follow-up evaluation, in close collaboration with Messe Düsseldorf.  It developed the programme, went location scouting and found a venue in a charming industrial setting, created an attractive event programme for the day before glasstec Preview and organised the entire day from A to Z. 

The result / 

Both exhibitors and journalists were impressed by the first glasstec Preview. They made new contacts, extended existing networks and shared a lot of information for publication in the journals’ trade fair issues. The evaluation results showed that 100% percent of participants thought glasstec Preview was ‘very good’ or ‘good’.
