The situation / 

Aktionsforum Glasverpackung (Action Forum for Glass Packaging) represents an important German industry: the container glass industry. It therefore has great social relevance, as glass is an important packaging material for food and beverages. For this reason, Aktionsforum Glasverpackung wants to demonstrate corporate social responsibility on behalf of its member companies – the glass manufacturing companies.

The task / 

To design a corporate social responsibility campaign that is highly relevant to the target group of consumers in Germany and can be run over many years on a small budget. To raise awareness of an issue that concerns consumers and is linked to the important role of glass packaging. Directly for and close to the consumer.

The idea and implementation / 

zeron designs and initiates the nationwide PR and social media campaign "Clever einkaufen & essen - Initiative gegen Lebensmittelverschwendung" ("Clever shopping & eating – initiative against food waste") for Aktionsforum Glasverpackung, which is committed to promoting conscious food consumption. The central communication platform: Facebook. zeron creates the content and regularly provides the social media community with inspiration in the form of recipes, campaigns and tips on the topic of food rescue.

The result / 

The initiative is growing rapidly and proving successful! Since its launch in 2013, it has attracted almost 100,000 fans who are passionate about the issue of food waste and want to be part of the solution.
