The situation / 

Kikkoman loves food and food loves Kikkoman! The Japanese naturally brewed soy sauce adds an umami flavour twist to all kinds of dishes. It’s one of the leading sauces in Japan and the USA, and it’s been a firm fixture in the kitchens of gourmet, professional and amateur chefs in Europe for years. Now it’s also on Instagram. 

The brief / 

To produce creative and interesting content for Kikkoman on Instagram with special added value for the Europe-wide target audience. And, of course, to create a channel that transports the brand message and delivers daily inspiration to users on all the things you can conjure up with naturally brewed Kikkoman soy sauce.

zeron’s role / 

We developed a food-centric Instagram content strategy and focused on topics that are relevant for a foodie target audience in the whole of Europe. The content includes cooking tips, kitchen hacks, DIY instructions and inspirational ideas. It showcases the versatility of Kikkoman naturally brewed soy sauce and the other sauces in the range, as well as the brand’s Japanese heritage. The language: English. The visuals: either provided by Kikkoman of shot in the zeron studio (photo, gif and video). The campaign: ads, Instagram cooperations, a challenge and lots of other things. 

The result / 

Continuous growth of the @kikkoman_europe community to almost 10,000 followers in less than one year, an impressive engagement rate and fabulous content! #kikkoman #instalike
